About 15 years ago, everyone was talking about how all the truck drivers in the world were about to be replaced by autonomous driving. Now, every truck I see is still driven by a human.
The companies behind the tech make outlandish claims to pump their valuations, but there are a lot of limitations they don’t discuss.
LLMs like ChatGPT are just complex text prediction tools (like the predictive text on your phone). They don’t actually “know” things.
