Reminds me of the stories from the past when photography was “not real art”. Oneday a body or work that used AI will be so impactful, few if any will care that ai was used as a tool. I think that the work these scammers (because they were lying) created is total crap myself. But clearly not everyone did. Sounds like they sold quite a bit. Were people buying because they thought it was handmade and liked the work or only because they liked the work?
