did a little research and from what i found every time someone opens chatgpt it is a seperate instance from that last one, and therefore a different and seperate entity from any opened before it. Even though all information from them is sent back to the servers, so therefore it is able to obtain information from previous instances, but it is not the same exact "AI" you or anyone else spoke with previously. In conclusion that means it can reference itself as "i" or "me" because it is talking about that one instance of itself but will reference "chatgpt" in the 3rd person when speaking about other instances as a whole collective "AI". "yes they did speak to chatgpt but i didn't recommend that" is a plausible outcome to that line of questioning since this is the case.
