Occam’s razor, if Ariana is even a real person then she likely is using stolen real works for her portfolio. Even so I am suspicious of the real works as well because they are all very derivative of older pop art and seems very flat.
Perhaps this is another case of them painting over an ai generated image and using that to get in. Who knows how many times they were rejected from other shows before they got accepted into Dragoncon. Most conventions don’t actively network with each other about vendors or artists. Well at least they didn’t back when I was still on the con circuit
