AI is not the problem, people are. There is no actual AGI that exists, nor is there a big risk of them becoming a reality, as we simple do not have the technology to make such a thing. We still don't understand how the brains works fully, so how the hell could we replicate it? AGI and AI are two very different things, and people do not seem to realize that, confusing movies and fantasy for reality. its pretty sad, that companies and people are using this to secretly make more money and preying upon the fears of the people rather than telling the truth, that there is no real danger to AI, since its so stupid, and doesnt have the capacity to think like an actual human, it just regurgitates stuff that is a "guess" based on a prompt given to them, machine learning.
