Art is simply an excuse to connect to another human being. We've conflated the word "art" with the word "entertainment" for so long that we are asking the wrong question. The question isn't "is ai generated content "art", the question is "is ai generated content entertaining". The answer to that is "yes". So the next question, "will ai entertainment out sell art?". The answer to that is almost certainly "yes". I find that unfortunate but I see that as the realistic point of view.
