ULTIMATELY I beleive the reason trillions are being invested in AI is because they see it as a fountain of mortality. I beleive people are rushing to find a way to intergrate themdrlves into technology so they will live forever. I think they are afraid of dying and not being able to see what the future holds. I believe that in the next couple of years man WILL create the furst CYBORG and thats when the annihilation time clock begins.
