I have been using FSD and my feedback is that it’s 99% accurate. It appears AI based and learns as you used it. It does see the road and makes driving decisions accordingly. The driver has to be attentive at all times and ready to take over. The challenge exists because some users feel it’s autonomous and become careless. The vehicle cannot predict for other drivers’ mistakes such as drunken driving, using mobile phone etc. Finally, autopilot is NOT FSD. Autopilot is a driver-assist feature. The driver is supposed to pay attention on the road, for pedestrians, cyclists etc. my car immediately warns me at the slightest chance my concentration is waning, which means I’ve got to be attentive at all times, else pullover,rest and resume journey. The driver should also ensure the vehicle is within speed limits. Just my personal observation.
