You can't regulate something when people can compile and train alpaca on their desktop. It won't be long before more complicated ai will be able to do that locally, on a desktop, or a smartphone. Government can never legislate fast enough before that happens. I think ai should just replace government, because our government belongs in the dust bin of history. Let ai replace them first before we get replaced. I'd almost rather take my chances with that, work with ai to improve what i do, than have to deal with a callously annoying bureaucrat ever again.
