Art is often just an idea for someone who cant paint or have the craftsmanship to do it i would say his argument is right. Its the idea that counts most of the time sure the ai made the picture but if u have something in mind and ai makes it for u, i still would call that art if not there would be no picture at all. Sure he didnt do all the work but Its not the ai on its own that does all the work and creates the image is a blend of human and computer u give the idea and the ai gives u the visualisation. The thing is ai has almost no creativitiy in the same way humans have so its really just a tool.
