I think a better option (for now) is to give the possible wrong answer but to give an indicator of how sure it is. I've used AI while troubleshooting stuff and wasted hours sometimes because WAY back near the start the AI gave a guess about something (as though it was confident) that lead me down a wrong trail. Had it just said it wasn't completely certain about the answer I could have asked for more details, etc, so I could reason that step out myself. I guess you could do this with a "I don't know" prompt also... provided you could then get it to then guess and give an idea of how accurate it thinks it is.
