The argument goes that it is a "tool" to help the process. That is true. What is ignored is that it is also a replacement. Unlike most "tools" that help the creative process, like a computer or a drum machine - the AI music creation software actually removes the necessity for knowledge and skill from the musician. There is a big difference between "help" and being "replaced".
