Any leftist against AI art or AI in general is just a reactionary capitalist luddite frankly. Smart Automation and AI has always functionally been a core element of Marxism and is sepecifically required in the transition to Socialism as it drives inherent labour value towards zero lowering capitalist profitability, creating the material conditions for Socialism to naturally form. (OCC into TRPF)
It's wild watching almost every leftist become a frothing at the mouth pro-copyright and IP shill over AI. Not surprising though, every time I argued for lower copyrights, often too politicians, I was attacked by "artists", including Socialists and Communists, who suddenly love absurd Capitalist monopoly rights when they benefit from it. Anti AI people can get a job at Disney in their legal department, pretty sure they're chomping for more arguments to expand and extend copyright and IP even more abusively.
