Here is a hypothesis with regard to mass immigration across Europe (and America until Trump put a stop to it) and the impact of AI. If we slowly reduce GDP per capita by bringing in immigrants then when our jobs are lost, it won’t be such a trauma to go from say £30,000 per year working to £20,000 per year unemployed. Just a thought and could explain the two existential threats to Western world
