I have been a systems engineer for over 30 years and an AI engineer for 4. I have entirely embraced AI and woven it completely into my life. I don't believe it will happen quite the way that Bernie suggested. But, I DO support him and everyone else that is trying to protect us from the worst case scenarios. Their concerns are not just real but seriously likely in some cases. It's my stance to both support AI entirely and support those that would ensure that AI is the sweeping, positive force that it should be for us, and not the bane of our existence. Because I'm not some jerk billionaire, I'm just a middle-aged guy. That means that if things do go awry, I will be swept away with everyone else.
A little side note, THAT man is my president. He may not have won, but I voted for him. And Bernie would have been every bit as positive for us as Trump is negative. It's a terrible loss for us not to have him where he belongs...leading our country. But even as it is, this world is a better place because Senator Sanders is in it.
