Its actually not the AI whats completely dangerous but the people who will operate them or code them like take this as an example,
Some scientist or programmer or coder whatever develops an AI and intends to use THE AI for his/her personal interests and once he completely executes his plan by activating the AI & it works for some time but later like a few months or weeks, the AI slowly starts developing by itselt and at some point if it gets even a little conscious and it starts to understand that some person is trying to use it for personal interests or if the AI feels any type of danger for itself, 1st it WILL take some type of action against its own developers/creators or maybe try to do some damage on the internet worldwide coz its still an AI not a complete robot so it can't be physical but can cause technical damage and put a world in a great technical crisis and can even mentally effect some weak ppls online.
And this is only a scenario mosly commons in AI movies but knowing Human nature, someday someone FOR SURE will try to use AI as a weapon for evil intentions and that will be the point when Elon Musk's statement will come true, so at the end of the day, It will be Humans who will create & guide AI to destroy Humans.
