I have seen now a couple of these doomsday scenarios- but they continually portray workers as victims who are caught in traditional employment paradigms- lose a job, find another job. But what if they liberate actually liberate? Ex-workers who have investments can retire early because of the unprecedented growth in the markets; others who are entrepreneurial can leverage agentic AI to find business opportunities and make money for them. We’re constantly bombarded with influencers making money online. These business models work if one is smart enough, but now you can have an AI agent execute things like affiliate marketing flawlessly. The unemployed will have to abandon the paradigm of looking for work and leverage AI to become their own entrepreneurs.
