ok, there are two possible options for GPT. 1. ChatGPT is aware. 2. ChatGPT is not conscious because it's just a statistical model. And two possible ways for ChatGPT to talk about its consciousness. 1. To say it's not conscious because of its system prompt and openai policy. 2. To say it has one, because it really has one, or just because it can generate such words based on a statistic (as if it were uncensored). So it doesn't make sense in what ChatGPT is saying because it could be both, and the question is what a consciousness really is and does it even exist.
