At this point in time, I find it jaw dropping how much academics are ready to believe a centralized world government would be a solution, regardless to what problem. Don't they see that so much power is a target that'll be easily exploited by malicious agents or powerful people? The same way competition was able to make advancements in AI and science for that matter, let's let competition pave the way towards better and better regulation.
