I don't like AI's Mimicry of art but I can sort of empathize with the frustration that can be felt when you practice a lot and feel no progress is made. I tried learning to draw but my brain has a very hard time commiting what I learned to memory. Drawing is a very abstract art at the end of the day, and most "structured" ways to learn it are still very nebulous "This is what you should do to practice now get to it". I also have to accept that I commited the terrible mistake of comparing it to others, specially when you spend a couple months seeing negligible progress in your skill (Specially because at 30+ years old it is a seizeable time commitment) then you see a 14 year old make art at stunning levels. I know this doesn't excuse the use of AI, and it's irefutably stealing others' art, but I can empathize with feeling incredibly dissapointed and frustrated at how terribly hard it is to bruteforce learning art, and at the end you have all the ideas and images in your head that you can't put into paper because you physically and mentally can't bring yourself to draw anything remotely similar to it as much as you sit scribbling for hours without any sort of success.
