I am personally am not an artist but my sister is one and has been one for almost 20 years, and she sees AI art as a tool to help artist, not something to replace them. The best example I can give is when we was trying to come up with outfit design for an OC she was making for me, when we was drawing blanks we when to ai to generate some image for us to see if it can spark some ideas. Once she seen few she like, she start drawing, adding stuff she like, changing the details she didn't like then finally finishing drawing an awesome character. I am against the idea of getting rid of Generative A.I, but I do thinking there are some guide lines we should put. Like people shouldn't call themself artist for generating an image, it shouldn't making hyper realistic photos, big companies should never use it since that is work they are taking away from human artist, and A.I are shouldn't be sold like its art actually art made by human (Can't tell ya how many times I look for a nice poster to buy and I see 100's of a.i images..) A.I is a stool the can help with ideas, but just like any tool, there a right and a very wrong way to use it.
