The purpose of life is to develop your character. That won't change with the advent of AI. The problem we're all running into is so much of our personal development is conjoined with the quest for survival. Ai will allow us to devote 100% of our time to becoming the highest caliber people we can. The real question is will we be able to endure a life of abundance by voluntarily subjecting ourselves to the moments in life which cause us to mature or will we succumb to our baser instincts and fall into depravity?
