I'm at 40:07, and there's no mention of the greediest of them all: governments and their need for control and need for income. I would use transportation as a focused industry. If you understand how regulated, at least in Canada, transportation is, do you think the Canadian government would say, sure, flick the switch and let's go with full fleets of autonomous trucks in three to five years? I just wanted to let you know that this isn't going to happen. Mid-term, 10-20 years, and long-term 20+, years, things could be different. I have read and listened to many experts who promote the negative news. It is easier to state that a new unknown superintelligence will be the "black death" of our times. I remember when I was working in the PC industry from 1983-1990. It was going to wipe out so many jobs and the paperless office. That didn't happen. It created more paper and jobs were augmented with technology. AI is not the IBM PC, I understand this. If there are no guard rails in place as AI progresses, then shame on the millions of individuals, businesses, organizations, and governments that saw what was coming and didn't look out for the human race.
