Regardless of whether the AI is sentient or not. Currently, only a select few Elite has access to the info without any or basically very little oversight. As always anything which can be abused will be abused by the Elite/kings, etc. if it brings them more power or money if we look at the history from the last few thousand years........ Of course, maybe Machine learning will eventually start to reach other AIs to be smarter by 100x. And that 100x will start to teach to be smarter by 100x, hmmm. It would be funny if, in the end, Humanity would end up being enslaved by their own creations. Currently, AI has a long way to go, but it will likely improve a lot just as computer performance did over time in just a few decades.
