Companies have been running on skeleton crews (and many of the bones missing) since GFC, so good luck thinning the workforce from here using AI. 20 years ago, maybe. Tens of millions of jobs already got eliminated through just shear corporate greed and that had nothing to do with technology or innovation. It was as simple as your fired and the remaining workers pick up the slack. Boom, just saved the company money. Go ahead and tell us exactly how your AI can compete vs simply firing people and making those that remain do that persons job on top of theirs. Is it free?
