AI craze broke the trust between developers and employers. A lot of top talent left, or preparing to leave. In the next years we will see that a lot of new companies are being formed and older companies will struggle even maintaining their existing software. They hated paying developers, now by cutting junior hiring, they shot themselves in the foot. The developers they so badly wanted to get rid of will become even more expensive will be unwilling to work on their badly maintained, vibe code poisoned systems.
