So no more AI? no more fair use? no reviews? no cosplay? no fanart? no private commissions showing IP of others? no collage work? no referencing photogrpaphs (IP of photographer)? no advancements in large language models (texts like forum posts etc could be considered IP by that standard)? no more protein folding-AI (Proteins of different sources studied could be considered Data given without consent for THIS specific use... just like everyone using Instagram etc has given consent for the data to be processed by third parties) ? Same restrictive law as in music? you guys really want this? This will backfire so hard you wont even know where is up i guarante... Btw I am a professional artist that studied Contempoarary arts (painting) for 10 semesters and works activelly as a professional artist in a studioposition for the Entertainment industry. On top of that I am a musician that is actively producing music and releasing on several Record labels. So please do not assume my skill or my status as an "artist" or "nonartist" If we fought back as is suggested we would loose so much more and all that just to delay advancements in AI for maybe 2 years max. AI will catch up even with only public domain data. You guys are delusional if you think that the AI or even AGI of the future would need to be trained the same way. this will be so omnipresent in a few years that all this discussion will seem super ridiculous... just like arguing we should not use Trucks but rather carriages to transport goods. Adapt! serious advice from a fellow, professional artist and musician.
