I've been using ChatGPT for technical things and now every single question that I ask is met with some sort of pushback. I ask a question about assembling a circuit, the AI refuses to answer it due to "concerns about your safety." I asked it to explain further and it went on a tangent about how this one part could be used nefariously to commit crimes or harm others. The circuit in question? A vacuum sealer with a heating element for sealing electronic components. Just the other day, I asked a question about a faraday cage. It's response: I cannot help you with anything that would defeat surveillance equipment, audio recording, or block any sort of signals." I deleted my account on the spot. Google AI overview is better than GPT and it spews incorrect information all the time lmao
