They barely tolerate us now. They already think they pay us too much. They took 15 million people off of Medicaid to give billionaires a tax break they didn't need. So, let's get real. AI taking our jobs won't result in a utopia in which everyone has more leisure. It is, in my opinion, more likely to result in a mysterious new pandemic arising, one that selectively kills off everyone the power-that-be no longer need.
