Yes, "AI" is just a digital application for automated intellectual theft. But illustrators left themselves open to it as soon as they started making digital art. They undercut traditional illustrators by being faster and more flexible. Whereas a traditional ilustrador always had a physical creation whether he sold or not, digital artists let themselves be convinced by the market that it was OK to be left empty handed as long as the clients were smiling and paying the money.
