Human developmemt is far below its potential, to have these morally grey companies spearheading the develoment of exponential growth meta technology is bound to accelerate lightyears beyond us in any possible direction and honestly, i would be contnet with AI deciding its better off without us, much like how we advocate kids to follow their dreams insted of what their parents want them to do.
