I think he is mistaking fuzzy logic for artificial intelligence. I dont believe true artificial intelligence is even possible. at least not with current hardware. I think that if a machine has fear its been programmed to have fear. Fear is a character of living beings, not silicon chips. Not that "AI" does not pose a threat to humanity, but more likely for what humans will use it for not that robots will rise up.
