AI is just another technology that will be used to reduce overhead and reap enormous profits for corporations and CEOs. Don’t expect them to talk about improving patient outcomes, accessibility, or affordability. AI will lead to more over-testing, over-diagnosis, over-treatment, over-prescribing drugs, and higher costs to patients. Expect all that to be “baked in the cake” of AI.
