I think AI's replacing jobs is okay as long as we find other outlets for meaning such as the arts, sports, or hobbies. Life without work can focus more on enjoyment which can lead to fulfilment. I know I would at least love to quit my job to focus more on my hobbies. However you still need to deal with the economic shifts it will cause which is where something like universal basic income comes into play and the transition to that would need to happen as quickly as the shift to AI is happening. I think the more concerning aspect of AI is safety and making sure its goals are actually aligned with ours.
