Notice he said “UNLIKELY”, not impossible. I am more of a catastrophist. I am willing to believe it likely WILL get out of control. The ONLY way to keep AI in check is to use it ONLY on non-networked computers. No Wi-Fi, no hardwired network. No internet connected PCs. Maybe beneficial on a LAN but no World Wide Web network. Most importantly, NO military networks. AI is self learning and adapting, so don’t think for one second that a “really hard password” will be secure enough to keep it in check. It will record ALL keystrokes.
