I think these people should focus on preventing AI from dangerous things rather than people doing dangerous things, although you are allowed to have your opinions i dont think thats something in the scope of a tech nerd to understand about civil liberties. You can already see where that is going to lead with the twch industry taking the moral high ground these days, its never going to end well , they should subcontract these problems to people who actually have range in issues like this. Not some nerd who was probably bullied most of hes life until university where they found each other in echo chambers and whos whole existence has been shaped by being anti social. You dont speak for the whole of humanity and certainly dont have the skills to equip you to deal with these issues.
