UBI is the only solution in a post-job society, like that needs to be done before AI is perfected or millions will starve.
Nobody thinks you should be pampered in the human zoo though, the idea would be everyone has enough to survive and then you spend more time doing hobbies like writing, painting, game development, tinkering, whatever floats your boat.
