I think your art is lovely. I'm a software engineer who is skeptical of AI. I do not believe it is some magical solvent, and a lot of the use cases presented in ads are hilariously dumb. However, I have to push back on a few points you've made.
While I agree that the precision of AI art is... questionable, the average person has shit taste and will not be bothered by the absense of shoelaces or wrongfully placed shirt buttons. We're not talking about a space shuttle with a hole in it, or a bridge with below-spec weight tolerance.
I do not think your argument on cost is legitimate. First, most people are not going to be buying a computer for the first time exclusively for AI generated art. So the monetary cost is the AI subscription, which is generally going to be cheaper than hiring a professional artist, especially at scale when talking of dozens if not hundreds of images. The hidden or alternative cost is time. As an example, how long have you invested into your art to get to where you are?
Regarding disabilities, there are edge cases. I have disgraphia. I cannot copy ideas from my head onto paper. It is to the extent that every letter I write looks different. In fact, this is at least one of the reasons I got into software, because from a young age I had to use a computer for various educational written assignments. It would take me an order of magnitude more time and effort invested than most just to reach a point where I could produce consistently tolerable art.
I totally agree on the side of not being able to find the original artist for the source, or AI lacking a toggle to provide attribution. However, I totally believe that the saturation of AI content is inevitable. Nobody is going to stop China from stealing everything produced by artists around the globe with copyright claims. Governments and companies are happy to play the global economy game while selectively applying laws so long as it turns a profit. So unless companies like Spotify decide it's not worth doing business globally and cutting off countries where laws cannot be enforced, it is highly unlikely that we'll see an end to the proliferation of AI generated art.
On that note, I'm curious, would there be value in some sort of networking tool with the intent of connecting human beings through direct attribution? For example some sort of digital library of people with personal references? Something that would allow say, fans of your art, to see a list of other artists of all kinds you would recommend in a consolidated way? Sure, we have social media, but it's not exactly designed for it, and scouring the entire history of someones social media history to get a list of good artists seems like more work than most would be willing to put in.
