So what's the difference between you making fan-art commisions of Shadow the Hedgehog (an IP you obviously don't own or hold the rights to) and someone using AI to generate an image of Shadow? I doubt you or the AI asked Sega consent to use their character so if you're trying to argue that AI is bad because it "steals", how are you any different?
