Once autonomous drones can be produced at scale, computing power and manufacturing will become the deciding factors in the competition to bring them to bear and unleash their full potential on the battlefield.
China has invested 15:1 over the US in quantum computing and its advantages in manufacturing aren’t even a question. Not to mention that it’s built massive digital spying capacity throughout US infrastructure so any advancement made by the US has a decent chance of just being stolen by China.
And these are far from the only reasons to think that China might have critical advantages in vying to assert dominance over the Asian-Pacific and beyond this century.
