Great discussion guys. One comment: animals get protection from us, but they don’t truly have animal rights. So here’s the difference, if we give AI rights to live (i.e.the right not to be turned off) then they should have the ability to protect themselves from that. So then the ultimate question for the panel is: would we eventually give AI second amendment rights?
