Okay Sis, first off thank you for doing all you do. I keep hearing this phrase “HUMAN MADE,” and honestly, I’m confused by it. I use AI to promote and create my work, and last I checked, I’m HUMAN. I’ve done it the old way. Working with artists. Studio time. Waiting on people. Money going out. Promotion. All of it. I paid those dues. So now, because I choose a more efficient way to get the job done, suddenly I’m “non-human” or somehow not a real creator? That doesn’t sit right with me. I tag everything I do with AI, as AI, I hide nothing. If the music is good and people connect with it, that’s what music is supposed to do. It’s always been about the end result, not how many hoops you had to jump through to get there. If your case manager liked the song, she liked the song, that should be the bottom line. At the end of the day, the big machines are always going to profit the most. At best, people like me are just trying to be more efficient and actually be heard on a musical level. And let’s be real, until artists create and control their own platforms, and don’t get weak and sell out for the money, the advantage will always belong to the platforms. As long as WE use THEIR systems, THEY hold the power. I understand the bigger picture, and yeah, like anything, some people will misuse it. But that doesn’t erase the truth, AI users are HUMAN creators too. “Human artists” shouldn’t be fighting AI music creators, who are also HUMAN. The real fight is with the system that convinces artists they can’t create something better. I’m not replacing creativity. I’m expressing it in a new way.
