Sam's argument doesn't really hold up to more presentations he gives. Artists (creatives) put in the "time" that makes their work worthy of being copied, they don't just spontaneously come up with their styles. They work on it, which can take years. For that work and time they usually expect some kind of renumiration for the effort. Sam and his number men are just using the hard work of others for free because their is authorities willing to stop them from doing so. They then go on to charge people for the use of their AI technology that they develop. That is theft, and if it is not then why do they not give away their product for free for us all to use? Simple answer, they don't - they expect to get paid, like all other workers. Nobody expects AI to go away or to not be used but the terms of its creation and cost are up for debate for sure.
