AI used to be this immensely powerful and menacing thing lurking somewhere in our sci-fi future, destined to rule over all of us. Would it be benevolent, would it be a tyrant? Would it have hidden agendas, would it go rogue?
Turns out the AI we got is not an AI at all, it's just people fucking other people over. Including by calling it AI in the first place.
Maybe in another 50 years or so.
