I find AI artists so hilarious because why would you want to generate art, aka something people derive joy from making? Not to mention A.I. DEPENDS on artists to even work, it can not generate from nothing, unlike a human. And its understanding, I think, will always be limited.
I don't mind if A.I is used just for funnies or to share an idea you don't wanna work on extensivly because it is just a sudden thought, but monetizing it is a no go in my book.
If they ATLEAST used it properly, aka have a team of artists create a character, and feed that art and references (AND ONLY THAT ART AND REFERENCES) into the A.I, then have artists tweak what it feeds out throughout the whole process, I would have a bit more respect, because then, it really is JUST a tool.
