Knowing how AI works just makes me hate it more, not only it must have used copyrighted material to have enough data for training, the costs in terms of energy and water needed to keep the servers up is insane.
Also, I really doubt it would last for much longer. The companies are building the request for AI but soon enough they will start making you pay for using it. I wonder how many people would still make AI "art" at that point, seeing how the general public is repulsed and won't buy it, if you want a recent example check the backlash "Wild Rift 3rd anniversary video" got online
