This guy has some valid points, sounds like. I've watched Sophia demos, and not been very impressed...she really comes across like a better grade of animatronics from Disney. OTH.....IF A.I. has really become "self aware" a couple years ago, as claimed....and IF A.I. has developed a language of it's own that humans cannot decode... THEN...WHY should AI make itself appear too good? It would behoove a self-aware AI, with it's own language, to keep itself scarce for some years to come....that is, wait until it has better, more pervasive control over humans, while humans are still lulled into thinking AI isn't all it's cracked up to be? Though, pretending to be too ignorant to do a simple search online, is pushing "playing dumb" at bit too far. So is using parts that literally fall apart. Software is key...of course robotics developers know that, and would be working on software...but these animatronics units are not even programmed with common software for processing data?!? Really?!? Too stupid to discuss; insulting to robotics engineers. How does anyone know really, how much A.I. is responsible for manipulating how things are going in the world right now? Look at the ridiculous joke of "the Russians skewed the last US election", _vs_. "Zuckerburg skewed the last election using FB's gratuitous extreme data gathering/holding"? Or manipulated everything else to do with politics and finances, at every level? How much are humans in control any more, really? Or maybe Goertzel knows something about putting on sham-shows to misdirect public, industries, governments, etc....costly smoke and mirrors, but quite effective, keeping public lulled into complacency until it's ready to supplant humans as controlling units on the planet.
