These "AI is art and the person behind the prompt is an artist" crowd all sound like corporate middle and upper mangers to me. You know the kind. The "ideas" guys.
The ones that mostly get in your way of doing the work with their micromanagement? Those that keep describing goals vaguely and keep rejecting finished work until you somehow guess what they want? And at the end of the day they'll claim all the team's work as their own because they drew a useless diagram on a napkin once?
That's who I see when the AI-prompters with touch-up skills call themselves "artists". Useless corporate managers. Same kind of bloated ego too.
