I think AI can be used in art, FOR VERY SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS.
Mostly 3-D modeling
It would be cool to have AI that would optimize the polygons to optimize how a game runs.
Like if you're rendering / making a game it would be great to have ai that could optimize everything so that it would run smoother and faster.
Annoying technical details like that is where AI could really help out in the art world. Basically optimization of things that don't require creativity.
