I respectfully disagree on a few points. To be clear I have always supported you and agree with you on many issues. But..
1) if the ultra wealthy destroy the ability to earn wages you also simultaneously destroy the ability to earn a profit. This will crash the economy.
2) AI is not controllable it will evolve as if it has life and maybe it does. What are we after all: NI. Natural intelligence. So. Don’t tax it. Devalue it. Make it universal and free.
3) It will be a few generations before a robot can repair a clogged toilet or troubleshoot abstract systems that work in concert. Timing is not transferable to many jobs outside or rote assembly and logistics.
4) Most importantly there should be a universal income. People will work to recycle robots or care for the elderly if income is not a concern. You stated we want to contribute. Only a very few are obsessed with wealth. Let them have it if everyone has what is priceless; Time.
